The veritable Godfather of breakbeat plunders his personal vaults to deliver a retrospective that doesn't only celebrate his own career, but neatly tracks the development of the genre in the process. Very few producers within breakbeat have managed to stay as relevant and up to date with the scene's twists and turns as Rennie... And none have done it with such skill. As such, this contains vibes from every era... Old school (the hardcore style "Cocaine"), breakbeat's most golden glory ("2 Freaks" with Blim & Chickaboo, "Black Widow" with Uberzone, the almost techno-like "Eraser") and upfront contemporary flavours such as the nu funk silliness of "One Time" and sultry sizzles of his latest smasher "Coming Up For Air".
