Review:
Last time out Swede Martin Brodin re-made Newcleus' electro classic "Jam On It", requisitioning Chicken Lips to deliver a remix too. This time round, he's turned his attention to another electronic classic: Giorgio Moroder's instrumental Euro disco anthem, "The Chase". Of the two mixes on offer, it's the "Dubbed Out" version that impresses most. Unlike Brodin's fairly faithful "Remix", it transports the track to previously uncharted territory, twisting and tweaking the famous melody in thrilling new directions. There are cowbells aplenty, D Train style synth funk touches and a general air of dancefloor madness that screams "play me". You'd be a fool not to.
