Review:
The dubstep duo from Kansas come up with a terrifying medley of synth distortions and decimating wobbles in their controversial Frightened EP. "Almighty" is all strained hiccupping rhythms, smashing kicks and synth sweeps pacing out for the duration with a high pitched screech. A similar blueprint is followed for the rest of the EP; "Disturbing The Peace" continues with obnoxious mid range growls; "Roots" is another auditory assault with driving synths and punishing manipulations; "The Frightened" lulls you into a false sense of security with a slowed down cinematic finale, before falling into the shuddering Nero-esque stuttering that characterises the other tracks. Fans of Doctor P, Trolley Snatcha and raucous rampaging dubstep flavours take note!
