Review:
American house and garage legend Todd "The God" Edwards provides the first installment of "The Journey" on Black Label and what an immense musical journey it is. First up is the imposing "Odyssey" with its pulsing rhythms and hypnotic style, we are immediately plunged straight into Todd's brave new world, progressing slowly with cheery melodies, swooning R&B style vocals, we are taken on a journey within this very tune itself. The accompanying "Show The Way" is another equally compelling venture with cooing vocals, shimmying atmospherics and laidback, hissing beats. A suitably stylish single here.
