Today's lesson in simple mathematics: Mario Basanov plus The Revenge remix times Future Classics Australia equals a big release. The Sydney imprint return with Basanov's low slung chugger from January, this time giving Scottish don The Revenge the freedom of the stems. We're in good hands here. The self proclaimed "noughties house" of Basanov's original is stripped of its percolating synths with burning stabs the hypnotising quality upon which a solid mid tempo groove is built. Snatches of the wordless vocals float in atop the original melody which coasts to the glorious heights of the mix around the five minute mark. The Revenge's instrumental mix as 6th Borough Project with Craig Smith is also included for those that missed the more laid back soul tinged effort on the original Apres release.
