Review:
One half of house production duo Sun City Hustlers, John Pridgen breaks out the disco samples and filters on "Funk Train" - the opening song from his new Unidentified Suspect EP. In the ilk of '90s-era Cassius or Basement Jaxx, he gets the most out of a simple 8-bar disco-funk sample, beefing up the highs and lows with thick kicks and hats. "Steady Making Hits" is a sax-led beauty that once again incorporates a trunk of funk, while "Stunner" goes for a more dubby/breaks feel.
