Chilled out French disco peddlers Venice Beach believe in quality, not quantity. Compared to their contemporaries in the nu-disco oeuvre, they don't release stuff that often. Here though, they've delivered a slick new EP perfectly honed for the summer (we didn't say British summer, mind - best think of somewhere that's actually hot and exotic). "Apple & Snake" is classic early style synthy boogie, "Paradise" is based around a mega-elasticated Gino Soccio-esque bassline and "Unique" is dreamy and deep electro-house. C'est bon!
