Review:
Spooked-out and jazz influenced broken beat/trip hop from Eardream's Ocelot on this new three-track release which sees title tune "Violet Rays of Light" mixing live drums with atmospheric Rhodes keys while the more relaxed and beatless "Chill Pill" conjures up memories of Coldcut's more ambient excursions thanks to some ethno-textured percussion and plenty of delay effects.
