Review:
Deep house/US garage veterans Mateo & Matos have been around longer than the Ark. Yet they remain capable of great things, as "Want U Tonight" proves. It's a deliciously simple deep house concoction that marries contemporary production (see the beefy bottom end) with the twittering synth melodies and loopy organ hooks of old New York house and garage (think Nu Groove meets Henry Street). John Mateo's remix is classic New York deep house, while Eddie Matos' version has more of a New Jersey garage swing. All the mixes are wonderfully slick and groovesome.
