Soul Deep has always been one of those D&B labels that believes in the power of musicality, a bit like Hospital or, back in the day, Good Lookin'. This first solo EP from rising star Pro Luxe fits this outlook perfectly. It's warm, positive, melodic and, of course, atmospheric, delivering the sort of liquid grooves that should appeal to anyone who likes their drum & bass to be sweet and fluid. The title track is the most obviously floor-friendly of the lot, with powerful percussion underpinning some cascading chords, though are favourite is probably the soaring, S.P.Y-ish "Save Me". The slightly slower "My Love", complete with twinkling pianos, is also a beauty.
