Back in the mid 80's when I started out, I worked on a lot of tracks with breaks, I had to search high and low for breaks from records that added that certain feel to those early New York Techno & House productions. To this day my productions still contain breaks, but its tuff to find fresh new breaks that add life to a track. With the White Papoo Liquid Breaks Volume 1, it put the old and new days of searching for cool breaks to an end. This sample pack is really jam-packed with kicking breaks & banging drum hits, all in easy to get at folders, so there was no messing about! When I demoed the pack, the beats sounded so dope I had to drop them into my production that I was working on that day. The breaks I used really took the production up a notch. They were well cut, totally user friendly, and they just sounded great! The pack had so many great bits to use, it was tuff to choose what I wanted to mangle first. If I had to sum this pack up in two words, it would be Must Have.
