Review:
A major player in progressive house and techno for many years now, German producer Tomcraft is back from a long hiatus, and showing no signs of losing his bite either if "Written High" is anything to go by. A simple set of flatlining synths welded to a mainroom beat slowly opens up after a couple of minutes, creating a huge euphoric moment that only a pro like Tomcat can milk as ruthlessly as he does. The pick of the remixes has to be Eniac's: Tomcraft's long-time studio companion plays a blinder here by adding a huge, chunky bottom end while keeping the synthlines buzzing and addictive.
