Canadian loon Gonzales has always trodden his own path, releasing music that's often as bonkers as it is brilliant. Few others would have the audacity to produce a track like "You Can Dance". It joyously boasts a female choir, vocoders, relentless synth string stabs, boogie-woogie pianos, nonsensical vocals and even a tweakin', acid-ish synth line. If the KLF went gospel, it would probably sound like this. There's an epic selection of similarly joyful remixes, which range from grandiose nudisco-pop (Walter Sobcek) to thick filter funk (Robotaki) and, most fabulously, everything-but-the-kitchen sink (Shadow Dancer's brilliantly epic rework). Very silly, but very good, too.
