Review:
Mark Knights Toolroom label and the flagship Knights compilation series never fails to impress. For the latest installment they enlist the party fueled tech house sounds of Italy's leading light Stefano Noferini. Joining the ranks with the likes of; Umek, John Dalhback, and Fedde Le Grand, he digs deep for 20 of the biggest and best tech tunes around, including three exclusive productions of his own. It's a constant blast of energy at every turn, with just a few of the highlights coming from; Christian Smith, Pirupa, Marc Romby, and Bart Skils. An essential purchase!!

Always at the forefront of the best house and techno, Toolroom call on Slovenian ace Umek to helm the latest in their series of Toolroom Knights mixes. Tracks from Funkagenda, Hertz, Gary Beck, Alex Kenji are among the 36 prime cuts on offer (available as seperate tracks or as two full-length mixes), with special shouts going out to Just'n Toko's minimal thriller "Let Me Dig", Christian Smith's brilliant old-school burner "The Price Of Freedom" and Umek's own "Novi Sad".

London's Alex Metric is one of those rarities in a producer who flirts with various genres and refreshingly becomes un-pigeon-hole-able. From house to progressive to disco, and at the moment with EPs on Skrillex' OWSLA to this on his more traditional tip for French label Compuphonic. We loved the original, and now these remixes one again up the game. On the retro disco vibe it is all about Olivers mix, however for the progressive and house heads out there head for the wonderfully smooth Fingerpaint remix or the deeper and pacier cut from Dosem.. We are loving this!!

Described as being a glimpse into his own brain, Theo Keating aka The Wiseguys, aka Fake Blood's new album is finally here. Kicking off with a tension building semi classical/semi hoover bass-led intro ("Yes/No"), the album quickly kicks into party mode with the filtered-disco fun of "Airbrushed". Other highlights include the punishing bass frequencies of "Phantom Power", the lighters-in-the-air anthem "Let It Go", the apreggiated disco in a waltzer that is "Sideshow". However it's the dancefloor-orientated electro-disco of both "Soft Machine" and "Contact" that'll get really get dancefloors moving.

With plenty of heat and hype building from the underground and streets, the talented singer/rapper Zee Musiq gets the full club remix treatment for her latest single 'High'. With support across Radio 1xtra and Rinse she looks set for big things and these cool and classy remixes from the likes of DJ SKT make for a really nice soulful house moment, bringing plenty of summer vibes. Her songwriting and smooth vocals flow effortlessly with the housey flavours, and there's also a very of-the-moment UKG mix from Crezza, as well as a big room cut from Tucka. All bases covered on this solid release, and we are tipping Zee Musiq for big things this year. Lock in and get to know!!

There are just a handful of vocalists in the trance world who have successfully grown from featured artist to a name in their own right, and leading that pack is Australia's Emma Hewitt. With an album to follow, 'Colours' is a wonderful glimpse at what to expect, and via the always on point Armind label comes this very special remix from the man himself Armin Van Buuren. Built around Emma's captivating and instantly memorable vocal and Original orchestral elements is Armins epic as always production. Stadium trance from the master, with a progressive cut also on offer from Jerome Isma-Ae.

Review:
Its time for some party electro sounds once again with volume 10 in X-Beats 'Dance Reworks' series. With six tracks on offer at a bargain price they are all about bringing a euro dance flavor with plenty of catchy hooks, recognizable samples and above all else plenty of fun. Highlights for us are; 'Swede Nothing' (their take on the Florence smash), 'Beauty And The Beat', and 'Leaving You', but every single one of the them is ready to win over the commercial floors and do the damage. Grab these in time for the weekend!!
