Former BBC Radio 1xtra presenter and Huddersfield export 'DJ Q' returns to Tom Lea's 'Local Action Records' for his second collaboration with Brit School alumna Louise Williams, entitled 'Through the Night'.

To celebrate the release, Juno Download has teamed up with Local Action to offer you the chance to remix DJ Q and Louise Williams first collaboration, 'Trust Again', released earlier this year. All you have to do is download the parts, work your production magic and submit your remix to the competition drop box, full rules and a break down of the prizes are below...

Competition Rules:

  • To download the parts for free you will need to register your email address and postal address with Juno. No payment or credit card details are required.
  • Make sure you register a valid email address with Juno (very important: this is how we contact the winner).
  • Remix the track into your favorite style according to your own taste/interpretation.
  • Submit your remix to the competition dropbox here.
  • All entries must include "DJ Q Local Action Remix Competition" - along with your registered contact email address.
  • All entries must be set to PRIVATE, any public entries will be automatically disqualified.
  • The submission phase of the remix competition starts 17/04/2013 and ends 26/05/2013.
  • One winner will be selected.
  • The winner will receive: £80 Juno voucher, 12 Month SoundCloud Pro Account, Mixed in Key, Platinum Notes, the entire Local Action back catalogue, the possibility of your entry being included in the next Local Action release.
  • Tracks using "un-cleared" samples from sources outside of these remix parts will be disqualified, this means any sounds that you do not have persmission to use. (It's ok to use your own original/recorded sounds, any synths/effects patches and presets, and any samples or material from licensed sample packs).
  • All trademarks and logos are protected. All rights of the producer and the owner of the recorded work are reserved. Unauthorized copying, hiring, renting, public performance and broadcasting of this record, remix or remix parts is prohibited.
  • Your submission of a remix in this contest automatically constitutes your agreement to these rules.
