Review: This prolific French producer is back with a new two-track single and it seems that Euro-tinged synthpop is the order of the day. With it's stomping drums, mid-80s synth lines and it's more 90s style vocal loops and records scratches, "Paradise" could be a distant relative of Royksopp or Telepopmusik. "Asia My Love", with its funky drummer beats and world music influences, betrays later influences a la Play-era Moby.

Review: The third single from Mr. Confuse's Feel The Fire LP puts the Latin-shaped nu-funk of "Imovel" in the spotlight, backed by some great new remixes of other album tracks. Germany's Mr. C fixes Cuban guitars with rambunctious brass over a heavy funk beat on his original, while Australian producer Rephrase switches up rhythms on his mix - creating a jazzy D&B over which he layers the brass beautifully. Thomas Blondet also goes on a jazzy journey on his new mix of the soulful "It's Just a Blues", while the salsa-core of "The Arrrgh Theme" gets a lilting retooling from swing-master Alan de Laniere.
