Luciano's label opts for a deeper approach on Daybreak. In its original format, the track is full of spaced out chords and outer space bleeps and blips that recall vintage Stacey Pullen. Mirko Loko delivers three remixes, with each providing a different vision for Yamashita's Detroit techno sound. The Kanjo No take sees Loko focus on the dance floor with a surging bass and grubby drums prevailing. The 'Main' remix is also dance floor-focused, but in this instance Loko uses dubby drums in concert with the dreamy atmospherics. Finally, the Taiyo take is more off beat, with reverberating claps and the pitter patter of understated break beats prevailing.
