Review: Mortem get deep and experimental with "Life Forms" on IM:Ltd. The title track builds from a confident, stripped back intro with clipped, crisp drums and woozy, eerie SFX into a nice steady stepper with grouchy, murmuring b-line quaking below and atmospheric flourishes adding even more depth to the piece. "Mirrors Edge" goes deeper and yet darker with grating bass, sharp, industrial tinged beats and pounding sub bass from below.
