Brooklyn-born gospel and house vocalist Inaya Day gets her epic house classic "Keep Pushin'" reloaded on this new set of remixes released by Peppermint Jam. With the tight and urgent house grooves of the original here in full force, it's interesting to compare with the souped-up revisits of Yousef Circus, Sharam Jey and Mousse T in particular, the latter adding a sinister bass stab and some itchy hats to an already charged anthem.
Not all dance music is fun and games and no one knows this more than Florida DJ Joe Cozzo. In 2012 his three-year-old son fell into a coma and, following a local vigil, eventually woke with brain damage. However Cozzo sought redemption through music and with the help of gospel singer Inaya Day he's produced this empowering anthem of hope. Also featured are high profile remixes by the likes of Alexander Technique, Alukka and Young Bad Twinz.
