The latest single to be lifted from Dutchman Alex O'Rions acclaimed artist album 'The Bigger Room', and it just so happens to be one of our personal favs 'Craters In The Moon'. A melody to melt the coldest of souls, Alex's depth of sound is showcased in its fullest here. On hand to spread the mix wider is label mate Richard Durand, on his typically destructive tech trance tip. While in contrast Thomas Coastline provides a beautifully warm soundscape that will quite simply rock it, whenever and wherever it's dropped!

Alex O'Rion is a man with all the qualities to set him up as being a leading name of the future, hailing from Holland and honing his craft on Terminal4 (the label which set-up Richard Durand). 'Bigger Room' is sure to catapult him to the very centre of the global stage. An artist album with depth, variation, and the most solid of production class. 'Jabberwocky' 'Introduction' and 'Who I Am Today' are worth checking out especially. With 16 full length tracks for just L7.49, it is this weeks essential album

There aren't many producers around as prolific and consistent as Irishman John O'Callaghan. With this, his latest on his own Subculture label (via Armada) being one of the most hotly anticipated moments of the year. Following on from the still massive 'Big Sky' he once again teams up with songstress Audrey Gallagher for the simply massive 'Bring Back The Sun'. Ibiza may be a few months away but this will get you booking your yearly stint for sure. While its much lighter on vocal structure then 'Big Sky' the mix of Audrey's soft tones and JOC's impeccable production is more than another to make it this weeks essential!

The one man tune machine who under his many different guises over the past few years has steadily established himself as one of the worlds leading trance producers. With his subculture label fully fledging under Armada umbrella, it is time for his much anticipated follow up album to 'Never Fade Away'. With 'Unfold' he delivers an equally amazing collection of original strong singles. It's hard to know where to start as this is packed to bursting with quality. Big vocal appearances from Audrey Gallagher and Betsie Larkin, plus gutsy collabs with Giuseppe Ottaviani and Timmy & Tommy, the later being closer to his joint operations remit. A definite album of the week... Actually make that the month!

One of the UK's leading trance talents for many years now O'Bir manages to nestle himself comfortabley under the worlds elite, with a hectic global tour schedule and constant flow of killer tunes flying out. His latest behind the dials with Sonic Element is as consistent as we've all come expect. The unique male vocal takes centre stage and totally captivates the audience, with a throbbing b-line pumping the energy throughout. Sonic Element provide a rolling and zappy alternative mix, making it a tough choice which to go for.

One of the UK's most impressive rising talents, Lee Osborne has gone on from collaborations with Ali Wilson on Tekelec to have singles and remixes on the likes of Armada, Mondo, Spinnin, and this his latest on High Contrast. It may be the Nu Breed off-shot but here he once again shows why he is now ranked up with the a-listers. Peak time tech trance of the highest calibre, the relentless drive will pick up pace and power in any set and the lead melody wont stop rattling around your head for days. A sign of big things for the year ahead from Mr Osborne.

Ummet Ozcan on 2Play only means one thing, full fire tech trance sounds... and 'Insignia' is exactly that. The Dutchman lays down what he does best, techy loops with that infectious shuffle and blistering synth lines filtering in and out of the mix. There is a lighter more uplifting element sneaking in the background which takes centre stage in the break, creating a brighter vibe than your typical Ummet sound, effectively opening it up to a wider range of styles.

Review:
Whether it be on Doorn, Reset, Subculture or Spinnin, young Dutchman Ummet Ozcan smashes it out of the park with each and every release. Bursting onto the scene just a couple of years ago, he now rides at the very top of the elite trance pack. Perhaps best known for his full-fire tech trance sound, with his latest Liquid release he focuses on the more uplifting end of the spectrum. The aptly titled 'Transcend' was built for bigrooms with its soaring melodies and shimmering lines, that's not to say it doesn't have balls, as a big set are packed in the trademark beats and rolling bassline!

Review:
Dutchman Alex O'Rion (Terminal4) has been on absolute fire of late, having dropped his acclaimed artist album in the second half of last year, the singles have continued to flow via Black Hole ever since. 'We Live In The Dark' is as sinister and mood setting as the title suggests, with frantically shuffly percussion which constantly runs away from its self and a building synth line of epic proportions that transcends into a real hands in the air moment for the break.. We are all over this, check it out!
