Review: It's quite a turnout for the books to see Zinc delivering a release for Rinse, and he weighs in heavy from the off with 'Sprung'. Deploying a fat breakbeat reminiscent of 'Fat of the Land' era Prodigy, he rinses out a fat mid range riff against a sample intoning 'let's go' repeatedly. It's not the most original material, but Zinc makes this irrelevant, with an ability to make the masses move in ways that other producers can't. Elsewhere, 'Unlike Me' utilises lots of loud tricks and plenty of gusto, while "Unlike Me" sounds like the perfect hybrid of big room electro and UK funky, with a hollow bassline that mines grime for its sound to great effect. Finally "Recovered" utilises a similar formula, utilising an ascending melody and aggressive vocal looping to round off a bombastic EP.

Review: The TXTBK team have a real gem on their hands with this one as they unveil a vibrant collaborative collection from both ZeroFG & Skamma, diving into the more unique end of the UKG spectrum. First up, a fiery vocal approach from Local & Mc Vapour sees 'Ready 4 The Floor' arrive with a real touch of swagger, aligning old school verses with moody melodies, making this roller an instant house-party classic. Next up, Zero FG steps out for a super catchy 'Vibe' dubmix, exploring chopped up vocals and new layers of instrumentation, along with a full instrumental version to match. Alongside this, both the original instrumental and extended mix feature, making this a must have collection.

Review: With the summer coming to a close, it's always enjoyable to taste one final dash of garage flavour, which is exactly what makes this wicked new link up from ZeroGF & Halana Roma so special. Think of all the elements that make a classic garage roller, the smooth, R&B-inspired vocals, the pulsating basslines and sharpened drum textures to match, well this one has them all in abundance. Alongside the smashing vibes of the original, this release also comes complete with an extended edition alongside ZeroFG's dub mix, culminating in a very tidy release package for both ravers and DJ's to enjoy.

Review: We are really struggling to keep pace with the absolutely storming run that the Four40 team continue upon here as they bring together a tasty new project from ZeroFG, pushing yet more incredible new school garage music. We kick off with the super smooth melodic dives and vocal skips of 'Never Think Of You', which also comes complete with a very vibrant steppers mix. Next up we swim blissfully into the well shape chord movements and colourful soundscaping of 'You Or Me', which descends into pool of super indulgent sub bass come the breakdown. On remix duty, we take it up a gear as Kayfabe brings forward a proper gnarly D&B rethink, bristling with well designed drums and pulsating bass waves.

Review: Next up from ZeroFG, a fabulous display of futuristic garage and funky flavour, unveiling the first edition of 'Ladies Love Cool Jams', a summer-fueled slink through melodic sample-based magic and crunchy drum grooves. We open up with 'No Rush', a sub-driven ray of sunshine, focussing on emotive vocal chops and minimal backdrops, with 'Misdemeanour' taking Missy Elliot's classic 'Sock It 2 Me' vocal and giving it a vibrant new lease of life. Next, a broken-beat flip entitled 'All About Me', taking more nostalgic R&B vocal lines and switching them into a moody roller, before 'On The Floor Tonight' closes proceedings with more spicy sample work and some classic melodic addition, making this four tracker an instant classic!
