Review: Four40 have been known for their cultivation of talent since their inception, with this latest offering seeing the monstrous flavours of bullet tooth land for a much awaiting link up. Across these five tracks, we see exactly what bullet tooth is all about, with the moody sub pulses of 'Your Love' and crunching drum stutters of 'Immaculate Skank' giving us a truly vibrant experience. Killa P then touches down for a hard hitting vocal performance on the heavily syncopated slides of 'Brand New Day', followed by the pacey breaks-driven drum lines of 'Love Sensation'. Finally, we round off with a more subtle piece of soundscaping entitled 'Signal', bringing a touch of calm to bring this awesome debut drop to a close.

Review: Zed Bias's superb recent single with Shumba Youth is a modern fusion of dancehall and ragga that is perfect for loud deployment on top sound systems. Here though it comes in four different versions, all of which tap into different aspects of the UK hardcore continuum. The 4x4 Garage mix is just that and perfect for grotty warehouses, the 4x4 VIP Refix has a more prominent baseline feel and the Jeftuz UKG remix is a broken beat killer with wub-wub goodness. Last of all is the restless and kinetic 2-step mix to close out a high grade remix EP.

Review: The legendary DJ Hybrid is back in business with another top quality collection, unloading four garage-inspired bumpers on this brand new EP. The title track 'Flex Ya Chest' takes centre stage from the off, exploring old school garage vocal overlays and hard hitting sublines to kick the EP off in serious style. Next, a 140 VIP mix of 'Big Four Five', utilising a hard hitting vocal line atop a bed of quivering LFO lines and choppy drum textures, before the super smooth sub notation of 'All For You' gives us another thunderous display in close pursuit. Finally, 'Area Code' ups the pace significantly with a dancefloor-ready rumbler, focussing on fidgeting synth lines and smooth pads to give us a slightly alternative closer.

Review: The Southpoint train continues to drive forward, welcoming some of the best and most exciting new garage and breaks talents in their already well established hall of greats, this time seeing ODF arrive for a fiery debut drop. We open up with 'Riddim & Flow', a powerhouse speedy g slapper, diving perfectly between high energy drum shakes, square-wave bass notation and tight rhythmic designs. On the flip to this, a major switch up as 'B-Side Bubbler' delivers a much more old school feeling, combining broken-beat drum work with moody subs and a clean finish, giving us a near perfect switch up from A to B.

Review: The legendary Jeremy Sylvester is back in fine form with this fiery display, unloading four dancefloor-ready rollers with some real throwback feelings, courtesy of course of Time Is Now. We open up with the nostalgic chord progressions and heavily reverberated soundscapes of '90's Man', which sets the tone perfectly, followed by 'Flashback', a sleeklike roller doused in electronic energy. From here 'In The Morning' arrives to unleash a more subtle bubbling feeling, focussing on moogy basslines and refreshing pad arrangements, before the heavily sampled vocal chops and icey synth sweeps of 'Wickedest Sound' close off the EP with a bang

Review: The TXTBK team have a real gem on their hands with this one as they unveil a vibrant collaborative collection from both ZeroFG & Skamma, diving into the more unique end of the UKG spectrum. First up, a fiery vocal approach from Local & Mc Vapour sees 'Ready 4 The Floor' arrive with a real touch of swagger, aligning old school verses with moody melodies, making this roller an instant house-party classic. Next up, Zero FG steps out for a super catchy 'Vibe' dubmix, exploring chopped up vocals and new layers of instrumentation, along with a full instrumental version to match. Alongside this, both the original instrumental and extended mix feature, making this a must have collection.

Review: The team over at YosH have done a fantastic job over the years in pushing out some of the most innovative and unique bass and garage combinations that we have seen across the UK, with this latest remix drop from dubbleT, OHKAY & Jamie Hai being a great example of that. We in fact open up with the remix, which sees a selection of sand-shifting sub sweeps and warm vocal displays fromdubbleT &OHKAY reworked into a party-ready roller by Jamie Hai, taking elements of both UKG and bass in its creation. For contrast, the original recording also sits on the EP, providing not only a great A/B flip, but also a great example of how much difference a good remix can make.

Review: Murder He Wrote straight out of Manchester brings a second version to his self titled 'Murder He Wrote' collection of tracks and bangers. Where the first compilation took in some production highlights that dated back to 2016, part two brims with two brand spanking new originals in "Tweet" and "Frozen", while the six others have all been lifted from the guy's massive Roska Kicks & Snares back cat. It provides a step back from the vocal heavy tunes from the producer of late, with the MHW returning to his roots in sub-bass, drums and percussion fully designed for the club.

Review: Off the top of our heads, we can't think back to a release that the Vitamin D imprint has felt disappointing, with the ever-present garage skills of both K-LONE & Wilfy D arriving here for another tasty double single drop. Firstly 'On The Down Low' sees the pair utilise classic R&B style vocals over a smoothened 2-step combo of fluttering chord lines and tightened sub-bass. On the flip to this, 'Nobody' gives us a slightly different feeling, giving the vocal textures a much more affected, choppy feel, topped off with a groovy combination of bubbling organ and piano chords, giving both tracks a tidy balance indeed.

Review: It's an exciting thing indeed to see the super consistent production talents of Vital Techniques landing on the legendary DJ EZ's Nuvolve imprint, unleashing three emotive bubblers for the dances to enjoy. First up, a dizzying display of synthetic mastery and fiery double drops as 'In My Head' takes the centre stage. From here, a more groove-inspired approach on 'Run It' as we face a sumptuous sweeping combination of grinding synthesisers and unpredictable drum crashes, before 'Show Me Your Love' takes hard hitting 4x4 drum punches and emotive vocal lines for a killer closer.

Review: D'EAUPE, the forward-thinking record label spearheaded by electronic music duo Shermanology, unveils a stacked remix package for their previous Roots EP. Featuring a impressive lineup of artists, each naturally brings a twist of style to the original numbers. Rene Amesz leads the charge with his pumping remix of "Jabula", blending Verseless & King Her's vocals with some heaving beats. Hector Couto pulls out the filter sweep in his remix of "Touch" while SYREETA's dubbed-out breakage of "Jabula" offers a fresh perspective with a flow of dynamic house rhythms and heavy bass weight undertow. WZA's club mix of "Hijos De La Noche" turns the saw waves and garage vibes up to 10 leaving Chico Rose's reimagining of "Coco Loco" to hold down a super solid and techy groove. Sherminated.
