Antss & Marcellus UK - "Fever" - (6:32) 132 BPM
Special Love - (6:36) 130 BPM
Broken Souls - (5:54) 130 BPM
MuffinGoo - (6:47) 132 BPM
Review: Antss has released on Solid Grooves and Talman - now he drops this diverse minimal house EP for Sound D'Elite. "Fever" is based on a pulsating bassline and shuffling groove, but what really sets it apart are the dramatic disco filters. "Special Love" is more tribal influenced, with Antss dropping vocal samples over robust drum patterns. On "Broken Souls", he opts for a deeper approach. Soulful vocals and spoken word pieces are fused with jazzy keys, a woozy bass and skipping drums. Shifting direction again, the title track is more techno oriented. Led by an ominous Reese bassline and choppy break beats, it also features a hypnotic vocal throughout.

Tides
Diamonds - (2:04) 131 BPM
Review: Catching Flies, the moniker of George King, delivers his most emotional and cohesive project yet with this album, Tides. Collaborating closely with string arranger Thomas Lea, known for his work with Adele, Bonobo, and Rhye, Catching Flies explores the theme of 'ebbs and flows', reflecting on personal and global experiences over the past few years. The album beautifully captures the cyclical nature of life, anchored by a singular sense of purpose and intricate musicality. From the melodic mesh of harp samples and soaring strings in the lead single "Halo" to the deeply textured and soulful exploration of tracks like "Spring" and "The Last Phone Call" - Catching Flies blends live instrumentation with warm electronic beats.

Karplus Gas Storm - (3:18) 130 BPM
Desperate Measures - (3:35) 134 BPM
Review: Ed Upton has long been one of British dance music's most prolific producers, with his latest album on Hypercolour - the typically vibrant Spiral Dance - marking his 24th full-length excursion as DMX Krew since 1996. Its' 13 tracks are typically vivid, inventive and entertaining, with the Bedford-born producer rushing between intergalactic electro ('Always Hats'), sub-heavy UK techno futurism (the bleep-influenced 'Bathtime Bobby'), house-tempo dancefloor IDM ('Spiral Dance'), Spacetime Continuum style ambient techno (the chill-out room friendly 'Back To '92'), synth-laden analogue cheeriness ('Is This Normal'), heady beat-free soundscapes ('Hammer Slowly Forming'), early Autechre style electronica ('Ankle Grinder') and sweaty acid house ('FM Assembly').

Kindred
True Love - (3:55) 132 BPM
Review: Nothing but good, hard-hitting dubstep flavour to see here as the ever-ready Dominus makes an unexpected landing on Artikal Sound for four smokey original rollers. We open up with 'Exo', a synth-driven skulk through swampy bass drones and scuttling percussion, before 'Kindred' gives us a more spacious display of drum-driven soundscaping. Next, the heavyweight sub designs and system-style marches of 'Near Dark' up the ante even further, setting us up nicely for a powerful closer than arrives in 'True Love', a slower, more clanky stepper that gives us a nice touch of contrast as a thrilling finale.

Details
Details (Girl Unit remix) - (4:59) 130 BPM Hot
Details (Aryu Jassika's You Like Things remix) - (5:05) 132 BPM
Review: It's been a while since we last heard from Hyperdub and Don't Be Afraid regular Ikonika. In fact, 'Details' marks her first solo material for almost three years, and her first release of any kind since last year's collaborative mini album with 45Diboss, 'Supernova'. 'Details' is a typically colourful and synth-heavy affair, with her own vocals and glistening electro-pop melodies riding bouncy beats (think Afrobeats-meets-pitched-down Afro-house and you're close) and a deliciously warped, sub-heavy bassline. The remix package is naturally strong, boasting fine revisions from BokBok (energetic and upbeat, with nods to peak-time bass music and broken beat), Girl Unit (thrusting, wobble bass-propelled techno) and Aryu Jassica (percussively propulsive tribal house revivalism).

Nobody - (4:16) 130 BPM

Review: Off the top of our heads, we can't think back to a release that the Vitamin D imprint has felt disappointing, with the ever-present garage skills of both K-LONE & Wilfy D arriving here for another tasty double single drop. Firstly 'On The Down Low' sees the pair utilise classic R&B style vocals over a smoothened 2-step combo of fluttering chord lines and tightened sub-bass. On the flip to this, 'Nobody' gives us a slightly different feeling, giving the vocal textures a much more affected, choppy feel, topped off with a groovy combination of bubbling organ and piano chords, giving both tracks a tidy balance indeed.

On The Loose
On The Loose - (4:48) 130 BPM
Review: Kizzy's newest release is..."On the Loose," going heavy from the outset with its powerful bass-driven heat. Designed to resonate through the heart of a club's speaker system, the track pulsates with Bristol boomtown energy, enhanced by subtle vocals and rave-like whistles that add a unique rhythmic dimension. Amidst the intensity, ethereal pads emerge, offering moments of tranquility that deepen the track's emotional resonance, showcasing Kizzy's ability to masterfully balance intensity and introspection within a single banger - rewind!

Review: It's clear to all who follow electronic music with any level of regularity that Om Unit has become one of the most consistently impressive names to follow, with the last decade of work showcasing creativity and sonic innovation with every new outing. This latest 'Fragments' album project sees those talents again at work, from the moogy bass flicks on 'Snagged' to the icey soundscaping of 'Entity' and super sharp drum processing of 'Side Quest'. This album showcases mastery at work, with Om Unit again proving to be a level above those around him, with highlights including the colourful melodic squelches of 'Moonglade' and breaks-inspired energy-boosting qualities of 'Hard Skin'. Top work, as always!

Spark Plug - (6:54) 130 BPM
For You - (6:55) 130 BPM
Review: It's hard to keep up with the hugely prolific output of UK don Burnski and his several different labels these days but one thing is for sure - Pilot keeps on serving up the goods. For its 15th release, the tech and minimal focussed label welcomes Robin Graham who opens up with the lively and colourful synths of bustling groover 'Check Me Out'. 'Spark Plug' is more business-like, the dry drums and hits overlaid with retro chord stabs that amp up the crowd. 'For You' then gets loose and funky with some twisted and sugar synths over garage-flecked beats, while the refix of 'What's That' offers a jumbled percussive sound full of dynamism.
