The fourth and final EP to mark the fifteenth anniversary of Poker Flat sees its participants reinventing the past while looking to the future. Trentemoller's "Always Something Better" was one of the Danish producer's breakthrough tracks and here it is turned into a fittingly deep and reflective groove by DJ Tennis and Mind Against. On a more general level, Chardronnet vs Afrilounge's "Shake It" from 2005 was one of the key records in the trance/minimal house crossover. Here, new school producer turns it into a tough, pumping groove that doesn't sacrifice the original version's shimmering, spine-tingling hooks. This series isn't solely focused on old tracks and John Tejada & Justin Maxwell and Kindimmer deliver stripped back, bleep-heavy grooves and deep techno respectively.
