Review: Nicolas Jaar's Against All Logic alias returns for the first time since 2018 where Jaar collected all previous Against All Logic music - mainly house tracks and disco edits - in a compilation titled 2012-2017. This release comes with a hint that a new album is in the ready with a cast of collaborators to boot. This initial release features Lydia Lunch and FKA twigs on a track each, with both presenting a raw take on industrial, bass heavy and post punk styles of different beat making techniques. Take the epic distortion and shaded exotics coming through in "Alucinao" while a more stripped-backed yet equally noisey and syncopated approach of the AAL style takes place in "Illusions Of Shameless Abundance". The hype is lit!
