Review: DJ Zinc is back in business on his own Bingo Bass imprint and this mini-album is his biggest release in some time. It's a customary blend of bouncy drum & bass and fidget house sounds, a unique combination of influences that only Zinc could pull off this well. Track one - 'Therapy' - is a typically funky endeavour, as Charlotte Haining adds her vocal talent to a fresh, infectious bassline that moves with funk but packs a hefty punch as well. 'Felt So Good' is a trashy-in-a-good-way house banger that makes us miss clubs, 'Baby it's You' smacks of classic trance with its stabbing high end, whilst 'Bubble' does just what its name suggests and reminds us of old Zinc tracks like 'Nexx'. It's vintage Zinc - don't miss out.
