Review: Zement welcome back Ole Mic Odd and Alonzo for another punch of high impact tunes aimed squarely at the floor. There is plenty of cosmic urgency to the electro-tech of 'B-A-D' and all its withering sci-fi aesthetics. 'Automate Your Mind' bristles eve more with brilliantly tight drums and hits and mystic pads up above. 'Body Rocking' gets busy with pixelated melodic arps and vocoder vocals with punchy kicks and 'Smoke Break' is a more mindful and slower jam for thoughtful reflection.

Review: Dundee, Scotland's Hilltown Disco is backing a good cause here, and presents the ninth edition in their ongoing Angel Series titled Imamiah. It features Alonzo who engineers some dystopian electro beats on "Murmurio", CYRK similarly throwing down some fierce computer funk on "Lost Memories", while Isolated Material veers between the atmospheric and intense on the Drexciyan inspired sounds of "Straight Edge" and finally Rogue Filter goes deep on the sci-fi inspired themes of "They Are Not Men".

Review: Alonzo is up next on Sync 24's Cultivated Electronics. Across the eight tracks featured on his new album They Come In Twos, the New York-based producer draws influence from dystopian aesthetics as well as the sounds of bass - presumably from his hometown of Miami. Whether it's the intergalactic battle bass of the thumping opening cut "Animal Control", the Drexciyan computer funk of "Cause & Effect", or the sci-fi beats of "Magnetic" or "Unprofessional" - this is proper electro futurism.

Review: If you like your electro to be scraped off the sewer pipes and flambeed for extra effect, then Zement have you covered with this mucky gem from Alonzo. "Time Tales" has the kind of grinding synth tones and dystopian vocoder action that would be right at home in a Helena Hauff DJ set, while "My Vibe" switches things up with a saucy vocal take from WMN that comes on like Peaches jamming with Dopplereffekt. "Shades Of Tuch" takes things in a spooky direction, while "The Dead Cry" keeps things sparse and chilling. "Patch Dance" turns the distortion up to 11, and "Ten Fold Rule" rounds things off with another wonderfully murky lead line for the end of days.
