Review: Easily one of the biggest long-term collaborations in drum & bass to form in years, A.M.C and Turno continue their allied antics on the trusty yellow and black D&BA platform. Four tracks in total, all repping a whole different side to the Bedford badmen, it's unashamedly forthright and beastly. "Alliance" is straight up dancefloor shreddage, "Boundaries" leaves space for Dreps and Phantom to get busy on the bars, "Maybach" is a steamroller workout while "Draw 4 That" takes you right back to the mid 2000s-era of TC and Clipz with skin-melting, rib-tickling results. Just massive.
Review: Ahead of their massive "Alliance" EP on Drum&BassArena, the unstoppable collaborative force of A.M.C & Turno unleash this wily slice of grime fusion with MCs Dreps and Phantom on bar duties.
After a spacey intro, the MCs vibe together over a slick, stripped-back halftime hook before the balls-out mid-2000s Bristol style hook hurtles in and shaves your whiskers off (even if you don't have whiskers) This sets the pace. Bring on the "Alliance"!
