Review: Having made his name via a series of well-received releases on Super Music and Toolroom Records, Caleb Cornett brings his Amtrac project to W&O Street Tracks for the first time. He begins with the touchy-feely dancefloor bliss of "Farewell", where sweeping strings, warm pads, and spine-tingling breakdowns rub shoulders with booming electronic bass, nagging piano stabs and slick, tech-house drums. "Renton" is a far more obviously electronic affair; a late night tech-house treat that gets the right balance between fearless rhythmic intensity, deep atmospherics and headline-grabbing melody lines. Both tracks will undoubtedly do the business out on the dancefloor.
