Review: This latest compilation drop from the Early Reflex crew sees the collective dive into one of the most exciting arrays of electronic music's farthest clutches, exploring nine original heaters. From the steadily glitching synthetic bubbles of Naco's 'Puzlz' and the metallic chiming melodies of 'Drive Me' from Coe, to the high tempo drum rattles of Ani Klang's 'Power Of 100' and the heavily syncopated rhythmic twitches of 'Sulky Slug' from Ophelie, we see a seriously exciting depth of range throughout the project. Alongside heaters from Scalymoth, Alec Pace & Sonia Calico, our highlights would include Kinkaid's jittering epic in 'Caphalopod' and the mind-melting abstraction of Laenz' 'Fugue'. Awesome stuff

Review: Berlin's Nasty Enterprises presents Nasty Tales, a massive 20 track compilation featuring various artists from around the globe. You'll find quite a range of grooves on here, moving between 130-170 BPM. We were particularly impressed by the soulful bounce of Benedikt Frey's "Sugar Fay", while lesser known artists make for a worthy addition such as such as Dogpatrol with their chiptune breaks on "Move A Muscle", Jadzia throws down some proper Detroit style electro-funk on "Flux", and label chief Nasty King Kurl is in fine form on

Review: Hyperboloid have provided us with a super heavyweight selection next as Ani Klang delivers a monstrous six track delight. We begin with title track 'Burn The Empire', a hardcore crunch of relentless kick pulses and moogy subs, with 'The Problem =' continuing this compositional theme with even more progression and intensity. We then jump into the eerie, twisted soundscaping of 'Us' before the remixes take hold of the release, with Daniel Ruane Relapse giving 'Burn The Empire' an even more industrial relick. We also see A.Fruit give 'The Problem =' a top quality drum and bass overhaul before Pixelord twists 'Us' into an arpeggiating acid epic. Fabulous work!

Review: Again, we dive deep into the pools of the unknown with this one as we travel through the latest compilational offering from Worst Behavior, who bring forward a host of guests on their second official full release. The styles on the project vary, primarily however floating around the juke / footwork bracket. We see a host of names join the party here including the likes of A-0, Samurai Breaks, Harka, A.Fruit and Posij, forming a pretty strong roster indeed. Highlights for us have to include the twisted collaboratory flavours of DJ Madd & Jon1st's 'Roots Fashion' and the jungalistic spins of 'Saturn Bashment' from Walters.
