Great Stuff truly live up to their name with this absolute belter from London's As I Am, an artist who has appeared in recent times for Simma Black, Defected and Glasgow Underground so he's certainly got credentials! Starting off with the rolling, white noise treated, main room groove that is "Ride On (Body Movin)", this one will totally rock a loved up summertime crowd on The White Isle this season. He's then into the funky house influenced vibe of "Don't Stop" with its tight rhythm and euphoric house organ stabs supporting some sampled diva vocals.
Few artists have balanced the characteristics of bass, UKG and house quite so sweetly as this artist in 2014. For As I Am's Defected debut he flexes one step closer to straight up deep house as we're washed gently with blissed out vocals, warm synths and a bassline that punches softly-but-sternly. File under lockdown: "Saving Grace" guarantees full floor hypnosis and elevation.
