Both "Electro Bass In Yo Face" and "Bass Power" are upbeat, dance floor friendly takes on electro, led by dreamy melodies and rolling drums. In contrast, Bassotronics opts for a stripped back, purist sound on "Electro-Coil", while "Frequencies of the Future" is a more reflective piece. It's clear from Bass Systems that Bassotronics is an inventive producer, and this comes into sharp focus on tracks like "Beat Ignition", where rough 808s are fused with delayed vocals and discordant melodies to create an unusual but compelling electro hybrid.
