Review: This is a delightfully off-kilter prospect: material from EBM, coldwave and industrial fusionists Bestial Mouths' 2013 album on Clan Destine remixed by similarly-minded electronic misfits. Confusingly, there are no remix credits (though, strangely, there are on the vinyl version), but plenty of weird and wonderful alternate versions to enjoy. Highlights include Nightchilde's horror-fixated, acid-tinged version of "Cloaked", an exotic post-punk-goes-techno remake of "Faceless" from Funerals, and an enveloping, distorted voyage into droning ambient territory from Dalhous, whose remix of "Movement" is simply superb. Best of all, though, is "Ceased (Bonus Track)", a long, winding, building chunk of nightmarish electronica that goes from humid ambience to dark and intense drone over 10 mesmerising minutes.
