Digging into the story behind this behemoth of a single makes you realise what a character Sal P must be. Ectomorph's Brendan Gillen has a detailed story of how the two came to work together which touches on how Liquid Liquid stole their food rider and Principato's thoughts against marriage. It's far too detailed to recount in full but worth investigating yourself as provides some definite context for the two certified jams on this EP. "Credit Card" is stupendously good, effortlessly merging the taut punk funk swagger of Principato in his pomp with the snapping arrangement from Gillen. This is continued with "Esink", an eastern tinged percussive twister that operates at the lower reaches and sees Mr P in relatively restrained form. Big tip!
