Review: Given that their first release of any sort was a free download for the ridiculously successful Eton Messy crew, it's fair to assume that Boean - AKA London-based producers Jackson Almond and Jim Rider - are set for big things over the next few years. Certainly, there's an assuredness about this debut single proper that suggests as much. Featuring the quadruple attractions of UKG bass, bold pianos, crisp beats and ear-pleasing electronic melodies, "What You Do" sounds like a summer anthem in the making. The remixes are equally strong, with Howson dropping a string-drenched two-step-meets-bass-house interpretation and SEFF turning the original into a surging chunk of classic house (think mid '90s David Morales, and you're close).
