Review: Hans Moller and Zorn's Boy Robot is back with another twist of fate for the hedonistic City Centre Offices imprint. While we've dubbed this as 'balearic' on our charts, the duo offer much more than mere lounge house for the morning ravers; their sound is drenched in a deep ambience that puts them way up there with the likes of Biosphere or Tim Hecker. In essence, these two producers are craftsman in the art of electronica. "Archipelago" opens with a subtle yet engrossing glow of melodies, which leaves plenty of room for "Astroturf" to unleash its bouncy strain of mellow house. "Wonderer" is a delightful little slice of bric-a-brac house, the sort that has taken lessons from the minimal wave and, surprisingly, "Your Neighbour" manages to dissolve all of that energy into a curiously leftfield oddity that sits somewhere between neo-classical and field recordings.
