Review: Holy moly! Calyx & Teebee aren't messing around this year are they? Demolishing everything in their wake with firing one-track scuds since February, "Ruffian" "Scaramanga" and "Conquest" have seen the duo going back to their underground, roughhouse roots in three rowdy different ways. Now comes "Blown", a rampant electrified sandpaper jam that sounds similar to early BSE or Stakka & Skynet but with C&T-level production flexing. Techy heads-down body-slamming bliss... Prepare to be blown away (not sorry)
Review: The mighty Calyx & Teebee return with their first new Ram tracks since their album 1x1 last year. Taking a step back from the heavier, full-frontal sounds they're famed for, "Ruffian" takes us back to their time on Moving Shadow with twisted, heavily-sprung jungle fire - all spaced out drums and textural trippiness that's not dissimilar to Dub Phizix or Skeppy-style track. Just one track for now... We're excited to see where the premiership duo is taking us this year.
