Review: Badman brinkmanship as the Lay Low legend Certified Sickness delivers his debut album. Poking and prodding and turning every stone of the scene, it's an accomplished exercise in all-style junglism: the dancehall grit of "How We Party", the scatty computer paranoia of the title track, the extreme filth of the sexytime gyal dem shout out "Drum & Bass Girls", the unique tubular tones of the anvil bass on "Monster", the classic goosebump-inducing synths on "Dancing Shoes"... Shucks, there's even time for some off-piste tempo flexing on the frankly titled "House Music". Call the doctor.

Review: Fresh from the Cre8 DnB Radio Show comes the crew's backbone - Rowney, DJ Blackley, Certified Sickness, Fineprint and Jaxx all make an appearance to bring the cult radio station to a club near you. Filled with the upfront sounds you'd expect with the creative twists you might not, each producer adds a touch of the unexpected, making this a release you don't want to miss. Highlights include the hyped jump-up of "Not This Time" to the strange, kung-fu film inspired mania of "Get To The Point". There's "Reactor Faliure"'s techy build-up to Fineprint's brutal "Chop Off your Arm" and finally the downright filthy final track "Twisted Tones". After this you'll be a Cre8 convert.

Review: Liondub International present their sixth "Street Series" release from the series, this time running a debut from new UK producer Certified Sickness. "Judgement Day" pushes on with murky intros and breakdowns powered by abrasive sampled breaks and dive-bombing basslines. "Plane Trip" sees him take on a more experimental side as he flips airline samples into the beats - think more Final Destination than two weeks in Marbella. "In Love" contrasts the seriously catchy title vocal hook against slabs of distorted bass and a rolling backbone. Stormin makes an appearance on the microphone for the EP's most brutal moment; "Drum & Bludclart Bass" explodes over fierce bass stabs, slow, deliberate breaks, and the barest suggestion of a reggae feeling. Finally, Certified Sickness pushes his sample-heavy style to breaking point in "Cursed Forever", where horror movie samples meet jump-up mayhem. One for the hard crew.
