He's been crafting for prolific friends and outstanding musicians for close to a decade, and for Remix Tales Koletzki has now compiled his personal favourites (with some previously unreleased ones too). Features his emotive take on German duo HVOB's "Dogs", Frank 'Ame' Wiedemann and Ry 'X' Cuming's Howling project on "Stole The Night", through to legends such as French Touch pioneers Cassius on "Toop Toop" and NYC electroclash icons Fischerspooner on "The Best Revenge". Review: Congratulations to long-running Berlin label Still Vor Talent, which has now notched up no less than 200 releases. To celebrate this milestone, the label has put together this fine celebratory compilation featuring contributions from "old and new faces". Fittingly, it's arguably one of the imprint's strongest and most varied releases to date. Of course, there's plenty of typically Germanic fusions of deep house and tech-house present, but also the Arabic-influenced deep house exotica of Sam Shure, the rising, piano-laden dancefloor bliss of Oliver Koletzki's "Don't Take Yourself Too Seriously", the heavily electronic, club-ready psychedelia of Fideles ("Dark Stone") and the lilting melodies of Deorbiting's warm and picturesque "Warnsignal".

Review: Oliver Koletzki's minimal label pushes the contemporary club sounds that fit right in with the current status quo. Moonwalk and Rafael Cerato's "Phenomena" is a dark, melodic, journey track that would make Tale Of Us or Mind Against stand up and notice. Boy Next Door's killer peak time anthem "Lovely L" features a massive and razor sharp bassline supporting equally fierce elements for dance floor mayhem. Also of honourable mention are Berlin legends Channel X with the wonky and downright epic killer "Supernova" which will no doubt rock the house and KlangKuenstler's dark, rusty and downright bangin' "Drunk In Chicago".

Review: The cover art makes reference to the children's classic story about a little girl chasing a white rabbit, and there's certainly a sense of the surreal about this release. "Scope" is a pulsing underground house groove, its grungy bassline and muffled but insistent bassline making for the perfect accompaniment for those 'lost it' moments on the dance floor. "Evil" is another malevolent track, but this time, grainy riffs and jagged percussive licks that accompany the tub thumping, rolling drums. "Feelings" features a rolling, tribal groove and is more laid back than the first two tracks as a funk guitar sample and sensuous disco strings prevail. "Delight" is cut from a similar cloth, and its sax stabs and deep chords underpin an infectious 'hey hey' vocal sample.

Review: Despite not being a name on everyone's lips, Belgium is, actually pretty freakin' awesome. They've given us lots of cool clothes, food and architecture, but in terms of music? Unbelievable. The previous two volumes of The Sounds Sound Of Belgium were mind-blowing excursions into uber stylish electronic music from disco to EBM to techno. Now we have Volume Three. We 56 examples of awesomeness here to get through but highlights include the punky creep-funk of "Poison" by The Weathermen, the staccato electro of "The Voice" by Telex and the techno on steroids mayhem of "Horsepower" by Ravesignal. This album is gold!
