Review: The legendary DJ Hybrid is back in business with another top quality collection, unloading four garage-inspired bumpers on this brand new EP. The title track 'Flex Ya Chest' takes centre stage from the off, exploring old school garage vocal overlays and hard hitting sublines to kick the EP off in serious style. Next, a 140 VIP mix of 'Big Four Five', utilising a hard hitting vocal line atop a bed of quivering LFO lines and choppy drum textures, before the super smooth sub notation of 'All For You' gives us another thunderous display in close pursuit. Finally, 'Area Code' ups the pace significantly with a dancefloor-ready rumbler, focussing on fidgeting synth lines and smooth pads to give us a slightly alternative closer.

Review: Once again, we see the awesome sounds of Natty Dub Recordings return, this time delivering a pulverising display of original D&B flavour, welcoming the lethal sounds of Serial Killaz inside for a truly tasty remix. The original sounds of DJ Hybrid are on display, as we hear his heavyweight roller 'Back In The Day' receive that classic Serial Killaz overhaul, reworking the track into an even more gritty roller, with a strong focus on gnarly synthesiser growls, eerie backing melodies and of course a combination of hard hitting drum thuds. Review: As if his recent tear-ups on Ram Records, or his new show on Kool weren't quite enough levelling up in recent weeks, the one and only DJ Hybrid gets busy on S.P.Y's DARKMTTR with two heavyweight hurters. 'Warehouse' lets rip with a prominent rhythmic vocal and a robust techy groove. 'Never Say Never' meanwhile is a much sharper, late night tear-up with razor breaks and more of a neuro/dancefloor fusion. Different tackle from DJ Hybrid but that's why we love him - man's always keeping us on our toes!
