Also reflective of the sounds showcased by Shall Not Fade's various sub-labels and offshoots, the 24-track set confidently strides between deep two-step (Black Loops), saucer-eyed ambient jungle (Kessler), colourful deep house (Lis Sarocca), lo-fi jack tracks (Cinthie), loopy disco-house (Adelphi Music Factory), jazz-funk flavoured house warmth (Felipe Gordon), analogue-rich broken beat (Yosh), post-UKG heaviness (DJ Crisps), jaunty and jazzy 4/4 garage (DJ Swagger) and the kind of smile-inducing, huggable dancefloor goodness that defies simple categorization (Tilman and Phonk D).

Review: Coming up through labels like Natural Sciences and E-Beamz, DJ Swagger hooks up again with DJ AEDIDIAS for a collaborative EP on Shall Not Fade sub-label Timeisnow. In 2016 the pair self-released their debut Trunk EP which five years later brings us to this Speed Limit release. Taking in deep house and dusty two step jazz vibes in "Where U Come From" and the straight up club number "On Tha Block", the pair comes together in yet more two-stepping sweetness via "Don't Call Me" and a much heavier, drum and bass influenced "Psycho In Da Cut". Goes deep, goes hard.

Review: UK label Natural Sciences are back with more lo-fi house shenanigans for retroverts, this time courtesy of the mysterious DJ Swagger. Deep and emotive house of the breakbeat fulled variety on the self aggrandizing "Return Of The Swagger" while the early '90s techno of "Lituation" will appease the nostalgic on this homage to Canadian legends Ron Allen and Hayden Andre Brown. Then "Peturn Of The Flip" has a familiar rap over the top of this melancholic and bittersweet jam that's given extra grit by those overdriven rhythm patterns and bumpin' groove.
