Review: Brazil's Yellow Island Records. Bookmark that shit. Having surfaced last year with a various artist LP similar to this, it looks in good sted to possibly become a new breeding ground for producers and sounds the world over... With this Astral Therapy Vol 1 sending in a wave of club ready hits, Yellow Island looks to names like Bad_Mix to deliver its serving of liquid-jungle rhythms while tougher tropical percussive stretches come from Jonbjorn in "15.50". Some frenetic, deep and minimal house through Norus' "Dead Poetry" that;s next to the post-dubstep click and clack of Etari's "In The Horizon". Some deeper jungle still in Not Even Noticed's "Emotional Hesitation" while slower trip hop and downbeat numbers come from DJ Whipr Snipr. Always lo-fi, always good.
