Review: Unexpected Audio Productions have amassed a seriously consistent repertoire over the years and it's largely thanks to maintaining a tight circle of producers who understand the label's message: Deep, space-struck steppery coated in cosmic, psychedelic and globe-gazing curiosity. The EP title should hint at what's in store; each cut here takes a long-distance flight to every corner of the planet with Bymski's almost psy-like ode to Japan ("One Tokushima Night") and Datax's slow-gurgling groove and heavily reverbed Chinese folk chant ("Distant Voices") being just two highlights.
