Review: John Digweed presents Futuro: a 25-track compilation celebrating 25 years of his hugely influential Bedrock label (established in 1999). Taking in the likes of Bushwacka with tracks like "Lectrobee" to the "Bleu Cobalt" studio collaboration between Digweed, Nick Muir, and Captain Mustache - other notables here include label legends and associates like Marco Bailey, David Morales and Rodriguez Jr. Replete with uplifting melodies, pulsating rhythms and progressive hose suggestions, there's extra slices of techno from Raxon, next to select cuts by Sasha Carassi, Lost Desert, and Weska all the more. Bedrock's best.

Review: We tend to think of All Day I Dream's particular brand of melodious and atmospheric house music as being summery and sun-kissed, but as this second "Winter Sampler" proves, many of the label's tracks that sound just as good on crystal clear winter mornings. Musically, much of the material tiptoes the fine line between tech-house, deep house and what would once have been classic progressive house, with highlights provided by Zone+ (the drowsy and glacial dancefloor hypnotism of "The Muse"), Makebo & Anomita (the simmering bliss of "Symphonic Fantasy"), Katrinka (the deep, chunky Afro-house of "Mila") and Tim Green (the bubbly, snow-flecked electronics and Innervisions-esque grooves of "Sowa").

Review: Progressive house supremo Hernan Cattaneo takes us on a journey to the deep side here, and it's very much the proverbial game of two halves. In the first half, the Argentinian skillfully weaves a path through dreamy midtempo numbers (see Kymatiks' Green Fields & Lemon Skies'), moody, broody synth chuggers (Cattaneo & Soundexile's 'Flair') and full-on ambience (Navar's 'Zion'). For the second half, the dancefloor ante is raised considerably by the likes of Cid Inc's driving Balearic prog jam 'Forgotten' and the chunky, atmospheric 'Mein Sohn' by Subandrio. The deep/prog hinterland has long been Cattaneo's home, and this engaging collection shows why he's one of the scene's most revered selectors.
