Review: Having risen from the ashes in May after a two year break, Jellybean's Jellybean Soul imprint have made their return loud and clear with a string of genuinely funky deep house imprints. With singer/producer/all-round-superstar Clark at the helm, "7th Wonder" is no different. Passing the mic duties over to Dawn McClain for this one, here we find Clark committed to studio details. Exploring a tribal soul path, each of the rubs is a subtle variation on a deep swinging, jacking percussion-heavy arrangement. Those looking for a full-flavoured vocal rub should jump on the Brown Eyed Buddhist mix while those on a bigger, trance-tinged mainroom mix should be all over his Transplant mix. Wonderful.
