Review: The last few months have been pretty spectacular when it comes to CruCast's output, with a special run of fiery releases landing near enough every week. This time around they welcome two very exciting faces as Digital Koala joins forces with the vibrant vocal talents of SK for four tracks of bassy brilliance. We open up with the Asian-inspired melodic plucks of 'Look In My Eyes', which turns and morphs into a grizzly 2 stepper, before the much more malleable
bassline flavour of 'Spin It' gives us a real journey up and down the scales. From here, the pace is upped as 'The Race' again utilises those catchy SK vocal riffs with a rolling set of bass notation, before we are given one final shackout as 'Charger' delivers more crunchy LFO twists to see the project out in style.

Review: Well well well, it looks like CruCast are back up to their old tricks again as they assemble a weighty new compilation collection to fill out the fourth volume of their flagship series 'Shake The Bass'. As per, the heavyweights have arrived as we see some incredible creations from the likes of MPH, Burt Cope, NLMT, Massappeals, Vital Techniques and more. However, it is in the more underground names that have found the most excitement, with our highlighted features on this one coming firstly from Namena, who delivers a gnarly, metallic monster with 'Chains', alongside the techy influences of 'Honey Dip' from Foul Play and the charged up melodic bass-driven madness of Cooky's 'Behind'.

Review: Following on from last week's bumper release, CruCast continue their high intensity start to 2020 with another New Blood compilation, showcasing the freshest new talent within the ever expanding bass scene. They have amassed quite the collection as they welcome the likes of Sisko, Cooky, Event Horizon, Tension and Digital Koala just to name a few. For us, this project holds a couple of immediate stand out projects however, with Namena's 'Jack In The Box' providing us with a sack of rawcus dancefloor energy within its shimmering synthesizer slaps, alongside the chomping drum smacks and unpredictable synthesizer explosions of Wheeto's 'Skull Punch'. Excellent work!

Review: What a terrific bundle we have stumbled across with this one as the About Last Night team gives us this vibrant, bass-driven three-tracker. First off, we take in Albzzy & Digital Koala on 'The Blacklist', a spicy 4x4 design that links together with an array of gnarly bass sounds with serious precision, before 'Dead Air' sees Albzzy step out on his ones for a slightly pacier display of UK bass brilliance. Finally, we move into '108' which sees the likes of Monista & Digital Koala deliver a combination of future bass design and classic drum arrangement, giving this one familiar yet explorative feel to round us off in style.
