Dima Dadiani is regarded in Georgia as a pioneer of electronic music, because he managed to make avant-garde sounds popular in his own country. In 1996, he won the prize for innovative music at the Margarita festival and in 2001 the main prize at the international music festival in Tbilisi. Dadiani presents some distorted takes on deep dubstep with the fifth release on his own Sub Cube imprint. From the snarling razor sharp frequencies of "Aironbaba", to the deep grime experiment of "Oplis Babua" which is great for chilling. To the exotic influence of deep dubstep transmission "Pokusniki Beso" and its immaculate polythyrhms facing off with Reese basslines - we're certainly excited for what this mysterious producer has in store next on his fledgling new label.
