Review: Collecting 30 tracks spanning from 2011-2021, Dome Of Doom label founder Wylie Cable has put together Decade of Doom to reflect 10 years of a singular musical vision and the evolving sounds that come with it. Be it the dusty, chilled, sweet and laidback sounds of Nobody's jazzy instrumental "Sioux's Reign" or Kenny Segal's "Worlds To Run (VIP dub)", venture further into the label with the low slung drank of Alphafox & Gangster Boo's "Sauced Up" - to the far fetched beats of NastyNasty. With a touch of post-dubstep making it in through DJ Ride, to the heavy industrial beatmaking of Huxley Anne's "Nin", there's more positive flavours to be found in Daedelus's "Special Re: Quest" to some great percussive soundscapes in Ahee's exotic "HMU". A legendary multi-genre label that's impossible to pigeon-hole, Dome Of Doom celebrates 10 years with a thunderdrome of sounds. Temple of boom!

Review: Colorado might not be the first place that springs to mind when you think of dark, ominous bass music, but DMVU has got his shit on lock-down! He's back on Deep, Dark & Dangerous with a four-part gunshot spew that'll likely murder any dance floor from here to Aspen. "Fleww" kicks things off with a wonky, mutating bassline that sounds a lot like Coki's music on a heavy dose of LSD, while "Ummm" takes a slower, more ninja-like stance back by the familiar lyrics "..everyday I'm hustlin'". The title tune "Bloccd" is a stealthy, stop-start juke experiment carrying a load of broken drums and slithering swarms of bass frequencies, whereas "15 Signs You Grew Up In Tasmania" is more of a sound collage, straying heavily into hip-hop territories, and it sounds a lot like DMVU is having fun on that ol' MPC.
