Review: 10 years of US/UK grime feedback: Slit Jockey celebrate a decade of dirt with this extensive collection of classics, currents and previously unheard cuts. There might be 10 years between some of the tracks but you'd never tell; such is the solid signature and high quality control of the label. Every track is a highlight but cuts like Lenkemz savage club shredder "Can't See U", Blak Twang & Conrank's midnight murker "Go Getter" and Mr Mitch's eerie moon-bouncing trapisms are essential staples for any grime and bass connoisseur's collection. Here's to another 10 years.

Review: Have you ever seen a policeman on acid? No, neither have we thankfully! If the country's protectors turn to psychedelic drugs there really is no hope. No, we're much happier hearing "Police On Acid", a rasping series of warping bass licks over a vicious Radioactive Man style breakbeat, it's much more fun than seeing men of the law lose their minds. Elsewhere on the release we're taught to count badly with the help of a staccato trap-style bass workout ("123789") and taken on a mesmerisingly scenic sinewave journey ("Q"). Oozing variety and creatively, all law-abiding bass lovers should check this.

Review: Dutch label Lowriders are a collective with quite disparate tastes but unified in their love of all things bass. Although for them this can mean anything from dubstep to UK Funky, this latest release from Berlin's Doshy veers heavily into electro territory. The four original tracks on the EP all display a slow and dark fusion of old skool electro and a more contemporary urban feel; "DCU" and "Plastic" both grind along like warped booty bass, while "Zoid" and "Hornets (feat Stagga)" explore sinister half-time hip-hop and dubstep grooves respectively. A trippy, squelchy remix from Monky and a percussive extravaganza courtesy of Coco Bryce ensure further bass for your buck.
