Review: It's been a long time in the making, but Drew's Theory finally has been able to piece together his 'Future Vintage' album project, and in short, it's a masterpiece. The theme of luscious soundscaping is prominent throughout, but most noticeable on tracks such as 'South Floridiction' and 'Heishi'. We also hear some darker sonic adventures on 'Passive Furious' which launches out lethal subterranean LFO's and on 'Disciplinessence' which folds in mystic eastern melodies for a real dramatic vibe. Other highlights have to include the stunning harmonies of 'Osaka Smoothie' and of course the metallic rolling tones of the title track 'Future Vintage'. This is a fantastic project that needs to be heard in full to truly appreciate it's quality.

Review: There is a real feeling of quality around the dubstep resurgence at the moment, and a big part of that is due to labels like Dank N Dirty Dubz who are making sure standards are being maintained. This gracious dubwise two tracker from Drew's Theory oozes class, as the reggae inspired instrumentation of 'Absolute' swim away on top of cavern of sunny tones. On the flip 'Shoreline, Hallandale' works with more sensual melodies, incorporating spacey synths and even an unexpected twist on a classic break sample for good measure.

Exactly a year ago their inaugural Certified Organic collection lit a raging fire of smouldering singles and, most recently, a remarkable album by Sweepa. Now comes the sequel... Review: Marietta-based Drew Anthony stirs a unique brew. Steeped in trip-hop heritage, original dub and contemporary jazz just as much as it is dubstep, these cuts smoulder with real timelessness and groove weight. From the sleepy trumpets on "A Little Class" to the steel-foundry reverberations on "Side Effects" via the badman loopiness of the super-murked, slow-amen massage "Acid Vibes" and the hazy organ and horn flurries on "Soho Jam", this transcends standard stuffy genres.
